Your Shopify store is ready to go — now we just need to make you the official owner.

You’ll get an email from Shopify with the subject:
 “[Your Name] has transferred ownership of a Shopify store to you.”

If it’s not in your inbox, check spam or junk folders.

 

 

✅ Click “Accept Ownership”

Open the email and click the “Accept Ownership” button. It’ll take you to Shopify.

 

 

🔐 Log In or Create an Account

If you already have a Shopify account, log in. If not, follow the prompts to create one — it’s quick and easy.

 

 

💳 Choose a Shopify Plan

You’ll need to pick a Shopify plan to keep your store live. You can start with the Basic plan, and Shopify may offer a free trial. Just follow the instructions on screen.

 

 

🏁 You’re the Store Owner!

Once accepted, you’ll have full control of the site — products, payments, settings, and more.

 

 

🌐 Final Setup: Domain & Tweaks

After ownership is transferred, I’ll log in to your store to connect your custom domain and finish up any last tweaks.

Please send me your new Shopify login email and password so I can complete this step.
