Proposal for Packwood Petals & Riverside Ranch

Overview

Packwood Petals and Riverside Ranch share one beautiful online home — a Shopify website designed to weave the magic of mountain-meadow flowers and mini Highland cows into one cohesive lifestyle brand. Located in the scenic mountain gateway town of Packwood, Washington, this site will appeal not just to locals but to the influx of tourists, day-trippers, cabin renters and nature-seekers who visit the area.

You’ll have a website that works for:

  • Your specialty flower offerings (dahlia tubers, fresh-cut flowers)

  • The charm and story of your mini cows

  • Visitors who may want a memorable, aesthetic experience and a meaningful purchase they’ll remember

  • People who arrive in Packwood on scenic drives, outdoor adventures, ski weekends or cabin get-aways and become potential customers

🌿 Why This Location & Audience Matter

Packwood is more than a small mountain town — it’s a destination. Located near Mount Rainier National Park and the Cascade wilderness, with a charming downtown vibe and a strong outdoor-tourism base.

  • Tourists visit for outdoor adventures, cabin stays, scenic drives and weekend get-aways.

  • The local population is small (≈1,000 including surrounding area) but the visitor traffic gives you access to a wide-reaching audience.

  • Visitors are likely to value authenticity, “grab-and-go” unique experiences, gifts and keepsakes tied to the place they visited.

  • For your farm, this means: customers who want something beautiful to take home, a story they connect with, and perhaps an online tie-in after their visit (e.g., ordering tubers, subscribing to bouquets, keeping your brand in mind after they’ve left).

By tailoring your website and branding for this audience, you’ll convert casual visitors into paying customers and build a brand that resonates far beyond your local zip code.

✨ Design Goals

  • Create two distinct yet visually connected brand identities (Packwood Petals & Riverside Ranch) that feel unified on one website.

  • Develop a Shopify website that:

    • Welcomes both the flower-farm side and the mini-cow ranch side in one story.

    • Speaks to tourists and locals alike — capturing the sense of place (Packwood’s mountain charm) and the story of your farm.

    • Is optimized for online sales of dahlia tubers and fresh-cut flowers, and is ready for seasonal peaks.

    • Provides a professional, easy-to-navigate, mobile-friendly experience (important for visitors browsing on-the-go, on phones).

  • Set up e-commerce functionality, email capture, and shop-ready structure that can grow with you as you expand offerings.

💡 Investment Options

Because you’re just launching and working with a tighter budget, I’ve structured three approachable tiers — so you can pick the one that fits your current goals and budget, and grow from there.

Option A — The Essentials

$1,400
Perfect for establishing your brand presence and building a simple, beautiful website.
Includes:

  • Refined brand design: color palette, fonts, logo polish for both brands.

  • Shopify website setup (up to 5 pages: Home, About, Shop, Contact, etc).

  • Product setup up to 10 items (flowers/tubers).

  • Mobile optimization + basic SEO groundwork.

  • Walk-through session so you can confidently manage your site.

Ideal for the beginning flower farmer who wants to launch with a clean, functional foundation without overextending budget.

Option B — The Signature Experience

$1,950
Elevate your story, brand and website — recommended if you’re ready to launch with impact.
Includes everything in Essentials, plus:

  • Full brand identity package: primary & secondary logos, submarks, color palette, fonts.

  • Custom Shopify design that visually ties Packwood Petals and Riverside Ranch together.

  • Product setup for both flower and tuber lines.

  • Homepage announcement bar, email-sign-up integration.

  • 30 days post-launch support (updates + fixes).

Great for launching strong and making a clear statement: your farm is ready, your website is polished, you’re putting your best foot forward.

Option C — The Premium Experience

$2,400 (maximum I’m offering for this beginning phase)
This is for you if you want not just a beautiful brand and website, but support throughout your first big sales season — taking the stress off so you can focus on growing and harvesting.
Includes everything in Signature, plus:

  • 6 Months of E-Commerce Management

    • Ongoing product updates (adding new tuber listings, fresh-cut bouquets, seasonal items).

    • Shop organization and seasonal refreshes (prepping for tuber sale season).

    • Homepage or collection updates throughout the six-month window.

    • Inventory guidance and optimization for your shop as you grow.

    • Monthly performance check-ins with recommendations for growth.

  • 3 Custom Branded Assets (for example: social graphics, postcards, labels) to boost your marketing.

  • Email Marketing Setup: newsletter template + automation for welcome sign-ups.

  • Priority support for updates and questions during that six-month period.

Designed for the farmer who wants more than launch — you want a partner in your growth, you want your website to be a revenue-driver, and you want to go into tuber season supported and prepared.

🪴 Why It’s Worth It

  • Your website isn’t just a “nice to have” — it’s your digital farm stand, open 24/7, reaching visitors, tourists, locals and online customers alike.

  • In this location, with a strong tourism footprint, you have an opportunity to capture visitors who are short-term, move quickly, and are open to purchasing unique, beautiful, place-driven products.

  • You’ll be building trust, aesthetic appeal and a professional presence that elevates your farm above “just a hobby” and positions it as a destination.

  • I’ve helped flower farmers launch online sales of dahlia tubers that brought in $3,000 – $5,000 in their first season — a well-designed website and brand can make that difference.

  • Choosing Option C means you’re not going it alone. With ongoing management you’re positioning your business for sustainability, not just launch.
